Khalikote: A pilgrim bus reportedly met with an accident in Ganjam district of Odisha yesterday night critically injuring 6 passengers. The accident took place near Subalaya under Rambha Police Station limits in Khallikote area of the district.
The injured passengers are from Andhra Pradesh who had gone for pilgrimage and met with the accident during the return journey.
As per reports, a group of pilgrims had gone for pilgrimage in a bus and were returning to Andhra Pradesh yesterday when they met with an accident after their bus hit a truck from the rear sid that had been parked on the roadside.
Following the accident, the injured passengers were rushed to the Chhatrapur hospital for treatment in a critical condition.
The accident took place while the pilgrims were returning to Andhra Pradesh from Uttar Pradesh after completing their pilgrimage.
