Puri: Today is World No Tobacco Day. On this occasion internationally famed sand artist from Puri of Odisha Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a thought-provoking sand art using 1,000 cigarettes to convey a message of awareness against tobacco and to spread awareness about the dangers of tobacco consumption.
He created the sand art using one thousand cigarettes at Puri beach of Odisha.
As tobacco continues to claim lives in the country, Sudarsan’s art aims to caution youth against its harmful effects.
Through this initiative, Sudarsan highlights the growing health risks associated with tobacco and encourages people to quit the habit. His sand art serves as a poignant reminder of the devastating consequences of tobacco consumption.
The intricate design at the Puri Sea beach drew a large crowd of tourists who gathered to witness the impactful display.
