Sundargarh, Sept 13: In yet another road mishap, a father and his son died after a bike on which they were travelling collided with a truck at Amrudi Bridge on NH-143 in Sundargarh district on Monday night.
As per reports, the incident happened when the bike came in front of the speeding iron-ore laden truck after overtaking a bus. The truck driver lost control of the vehicle due to which the truck fell off the bride.
The father and the truck driver were admitted at the Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) as they sustained critical injuries while the son died on the spot. However, the father succumbed at the Hospital later.
