Bhubaneswar, July 15: After allegation came up regarding link of Actor Uttam Mohanty with Chit fund promoter cum film producer Prabhas Rout, on Thursday, Mohanty informed that he would return Rs 30,000 which he got for his acting in Rout’s movie in 2010.
He would return the money to the state government on moral ground basis, even though he got this amount for his acting, informed sources. The clarification regarding the date of returning the money has not been given yet.
Along with this amount, he also informed that he would also be returning Rs 20,000, if Crime Branch directs him, which OSCAR had paid to him to attend OSCAR Group’s annual function and promotional function in Surat in 2008-09.
