Bhadrak, Apr 21: Today the Village Level Worker (VLW) named Narahari Aich of Shyamsundarpur Panchayat under Tihidi block here was taken into custody by the Vigilance officals on charges of asking and accepting bribe. As per sources, the VLW worker had demanded Rs 5000 bribe rom a benficiary for clearing a bill under the Indira Awaas Yojana (IAY). Investigation is going on in the case.
