Bhubaneswar, April 8 : Anmol Agarwal, a student of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), the faculty of engineering of SOA University, has won the best student award for 2015-16 by the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for his all-round achievement in academics and extra-curricular activities.
Abhijit Banerjee, Senior Consultant with TCS Oracle EBS and Fusion HCM Consultant, presented the award to Agarwal at a program held at ITER in the presence of the Associate Dean, Dr. R.K.Hota on Tuesday.
The award is part of the TCS-100 Best initiative taken up by the company to enhance the academic performance of the students through healthy competition. It is being presented to the best students of 100 high-ranking engineering institutes across the country for the last several years. A student from ITER has been winning the award continuously since 2012.
