Bhubaneswar, Aug 11: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday announced the names of the ministers’ who will unfurl the National Flag at district level functions on August 15.
The Chief Minister will attend the I-Day celebration in Bhubaneswar.
As per the announcement, the names of ministers in the list who would unfurl the Tri colour on 70th Independence Day at 18 districts are Sambalpur-Pradip Amat, Balasore-Damodar Rout, Puri-Debi Prasad Mishra, Dhenkanal-Pradip Maharathy, Cuttack-Bikram Keshari Arukh, Keonjhar-Jogendra Behera, Kendrapara-Usha Devi, Malkangiri- Lal Bihari Himirika, Jajpur-Badri Narayan Patra, Mayurbhanj-Pushpendra Singhdeo, Kalahandi-Prafulla Mallick, Kandhamal-Ramesh Majhi, Bhadrak-Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Angul-Arun Sahu, Nabarangpur-Sanjay Das Burma, Sundargarh-Sudam Marandi, Jagatsinghpur-Ashok Panda and Koraput-Pranab Prakash Das.
For the remaining 12 districts, the national flag will be unfurled by the respective collectors.
