India Reports 175 New Cases Of Omicron Variant; Total Tally Rises To 1700

Bhubaneswar: August 2: Another 681 COVID-19 Patients have recovered today in Odisha. With this, total number of recovered cases in the State rose to 21,955.

Today, 91 cases recovered from Cuttack, 88 from Gajapati, 66 from Koraput, 61 from Khurda, 57 from Rayagada, 43 from Ganjam, 32 from Sundergarh, 30 from Nayagarh, 25 from Sonepur, 20 from Kandhamal, 18 each from Dhenkanal & Keonjhar, 16 from Bhadrak, 15 from Sambalpur, 14 each from Jagatsinghpur & Jajpur, 13 from Deogarh, 10 each from Mayurbhanj & Puri, 7 each from Jharsuguda & Kalahandi, 6 from Bolangir, 5 each from Angul, Balasore & Malkangiri, 4 from Kendrapara and one from Boudh.

Odisha reported 34,913 cases so far. Of this, 21,955 have recovered till date and 197 persons succumbed to the disease. At present, 12,722 patients are active and under treatment.
