Bhubaneswar: August 2: Bhubaneswar reported 118 new COVID Positive cases in last 24 hours. Out of that, 69 are Quarantine cases and 49 Local Contact Cases. With this, total cases in Bhubaneswar increased to 2,979.
Also, as per the tweet of BMC, 125 patients have recovered from the disease and so far, 1691 patients have been cured from the disease in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Area. Now, 1268 cases are active. Till date, 18 persons have died due to the infection.
As per the tweet of CMC, out of the 122 new COVID-19 Positive cases reported today in Cuttack District, 55 Positive cases belong to Cuttack City. Out of 55 new cases reported today, 2 are Institutional cases, 47 Home Quarantine Cases and 6 Local Contact Cases. Another 33 recoveries have been reported recently.
With this, total cases in Cuttack City increased to 1004 and of this, 511 patients have already been cured. 10 patients have died so far. Rest 483 cases are active.
