Bhubaneswar, Dec 9: In an interesting incident two minors involved in a series of mobile snatching incidents in the capital city today have been arrested. The gang used fast motorbikes, to snatch from their victims on the move and vanish into thin air before the person or the Authorities realize.
The arrested duos are minors and educated. The police have seized over 30 mobile phones from the duo and were able to buy the bikes by selling the stolen phones. They target the victims who reveal their phones in open, while talking over phone on the road or commuters in a rickshaw holding it. After snatching they jet fly on their bikes and vanish.
Earlier another gang was busted in the capital from where about 50 phones were recovered.
According to psychiatrists these gangs snatch in a urge to earn easy money for a lavish lifestyle and becoming big over night.
