Aryan Khan does not get bail
A Mumbai special NDPS court on Thursday reserved its order on Aryan Khan and other co-accused’s bail applications till October 20.
With this, Shah Rukh Khan’s 23-year-old son Aryan Khan did not get bail from a Mumbai sessions court and have to wait till next Wednesday.
Thry will remain in judicial custody at the Arthur Road Central Jail and the Byculla Women’s Jail for the next five days on account of public holidays over the next few days.
Aryan Khan was “not even on the cruise” raided by NCB officers on October 2, so the allegation of drug trafficking against him is “absurd”, his lawyer Amit Desai told the Mumbai court.
On the other side, NCB told the court that, Aryan Khan frequently took banned substances and also referred to on-record statements to claim that Aryan Khan has been consuming drugs for the last few years.
Aryan Khan, 23, was arrested along with his friend Arbaaz Merchant and six others after the October 2 mid-sea drugs raid on the goa-bound Cordelia cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai.
