Manish Anurag Death Case: Argument between deceased & friends over hotel bill

The mystery behind the death case of Manish Anurag Das is to be cleared. Two accused, identified as Mrutyunjay Mishra and Dinesh Mohapatra, had surrendered at Phulbani police station in Kandhamal district yesterday. They were questioned by the police till late last night.

Another suspect who allegedly accompanied Manish in a car, was detained.

Sources said, the deceased and his friends had an argument at Hotel South City in Patrapada of Bhubaneswar over the payment of a bill of Rs.35,000.

Also, it is seen on CCTV Footage, Manish was walking out of South City hotel, was said to be the visual captured few hours before of his death.

Notably, on Sunday, Manish’s body was found floating in a pond at Patrapada in Bhubaneswar.  He had reportedly gone missing from a location under Infocity police limits on Saturday.

As alleged, Manish had been abducted by two persons in a car from Infocity area on Saturday night.
