Police Arrests 3 Youths For Allegedly Raping A Married Woman In Bhubaneswar

An ASHA employee was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped in the Odisha coastal city of Paradip on Friday.

The victim and her family members went to the Paradip Model police station today to file a complaint in this respect.

According to the report, the ASHA worker was abducted by four suspects in a car as she peddled her bicycle through the Nuabazar area of the city.

According to the complaint, the suspects kidnapped the ASHA worker, drove her to the Nehru Bangala, and gang-raped her before taking off.

The police have taken action and brought one of the suspects into custody. According to reports, the other three have already fled the area.

After performing the medical examination and documenting the survivor’s account by Section 164, the police have in the meantime returned her to her family.
