Attack On Journalists; Main Accused Arrested With 11 Others
Eleven people, including the main accused, have been arrested in connection with the attack on Journalists at Bachholapur in Binjharpur Block of Jajpur Ditrict, said Jajpur SP Rahul P.R.
Yesterday, Police had taken 22 persons into the custody.
“All the accused involved in the incident will be arrested one by one and strict legal action will be taken against them,” the SP said.

As many as three journalists were attacked and vehicle damaged near a polling booth at Bachhola panchayat of Jajpur district when they were covering an incident of rigging of votes.
Like earlier two, third phase also saw widespread violence, damage of property along with alleged rigging of votes.
In another incident, miscreants attacked Block Development Officer of Korei near a polling booth at Soti village under Goleipur panchayat.
