Puri, May 3: The second Rath Yatra Coordination Committee meeting that commenced on Tuesday here decided that only authorised servitors will be allowed on the mandap during Snana Yatra of the deities. The High Court order that stated the allowance of only authorised servitors/daitapatis atop the chariots of the deities will be strictly followed this year. The list of these authorised servitors will be issued by the Temple Administration and the police department will follow it. The meeting took place where servitors of Chhatisha Niyog were absent in protest of the suspension of some servitors over last year’s Niladri Bije issue.
