Bandh in Anandpur ceases normal life; demand being railway connectivity

Anandpur, Sept 2: Yesterday in Anandpur at Keonjhar district normal life came to a standstill when a Bandh was declared by the Sachetan Nagarik Sangh and Maa Dhanei Seva Sangh protesting to have a railway connectivity to the region. Although the bandh did not have any major impact, but vehicular movement, government offices and banks remained shut. The bandh was also supported by the Anandpur Press Club and Anandpur Lawyers Association
