Bhadrak, Apr 11: Today all educational institutions, banks and government offices opened here and curfew was relaxed for seven hours as no major incident of violence had been reported for last two days. It seems as if normalcy is being restored back gradually. Institutions opened from 8 am to 10 am and the curfew has been relaxed from 7 a.m. to 2 pm so that people can buy their essential commodities even though security forces have kept a close vigil on the situation. On the other hand, Food and Civil Supplies officials have been asked to keep a close watch on the market trends and take strict action against hoarders. After relaxation of curfew was announced via public address systems, people hurried to purchase milk, bread and vegetables which were available at a few shops. Security personnel has been strengthened at vulnerable sectors and frequency of patrolling has been increased. On the other hand, the Crime Branch team is seeking information from people to nab the miscreants those had spread the hate messages on social media against the Hindu deities that had triggered the violence.
