Bhubaneswar records 25 fresh COVID-19 cases

290 patients recover from COVID-19 in Odisha; Total recoveries stand at 6224

Bhubaneswar: June 29: Bhubaneswar has recorded 25 more cases today. Out of which, 23 cases are local contact cases and rest two persons were in quarantine.

5 cases have been detected in Mancheswar Area (linked with an earlier positive case), 4 cases in Chakeisiani near Manchenath High School (linked with an earlier positive case) and 2 cases in Hadabai Basti, Chakeisiani (linked with an earlier positive case).

Like that, 2 cases were found in Samantarapur, near Nuagaon Petrol Pump. One of them is a service provider in a Quarantine Center.

4 cases are in Baltotasahi Basti , near passport office (linked with an earlier positive case).

1 case was found in Siripur, Laxmi Bazaar Basti, linked to earlier case.

One employee of private hospital also tested positive.

Besides, one 50-year old female from Ashok Nagar, a 56-year old female from Niladri Vihar, an employee of Govt.Hospital, a service provider of an employee of a private hospital from Nayapalli, have also tested positive.

Two home quarantine cases, have also tested positive. One of them is 28 years’ female, an employee of a private hospital, with a travel history of Kolkata and another person is 44 years’ male, Railway Staff with a travel history of Delhi.

Also, as per the tweet of BMC, 7 patients from Bhubaneswar have also recovered from the infection.

Total cases in Bhubaneswar rose to 314 with 25 new cases. Out of which, 174 patients have recovered from the disease and rest 135 are under medical supervision.
