Bhubaneswar: August 24: TCS Bhubaneswar had organized a Bicycle Marathon, on 23rd August 2017, which was hosted by Mr. Manoj Panda, Centre Head for Bhubaneswar. Mr. Ajay Nanda, Social Activist and Head of 22 Bikes organization, who shared their incite on the benefits of Cycling. The sole objective of the event was to spread the awareness and educate associates to restrict the consumption of fuel for the betterment of self, environment and also to promote “Go Green” initiatives. More than 150 associates from TCS took part in the event along with the professional groups from Bhubaneswar like “BCAC (Bhubaneswar Cycling and Adventure Club), 22 Bikes and Jai Odisha Team. These groups are known for all adventurous bicycle rides including long distance rides. They have travelled around Manali Leh Mountains, Bhutan, Vizag and Thailand etc besides participating in various full and half marathon conducted by Airtel, Hyderabad Marathon and Tata. Jai Odisha had provided the Bicycles for the marathon which were highly engineered with lot of customization in its specification to meet the individual’s requirement and comfort by maintaining the safety too.
