Amin Was Bin Laden’s Head Of Security in Tora Bora

Kabul, August 30: Concerns around the world have risen since the Taliban invaded Afghanistan. The Taliban has released many prisoners since it came to power, who are now returning to Afghanistan. Al-Qaeda chief Amin-ul-Haq has reportedly returned to Nangarhar province.

Amin-ul-Haq, a close ally of the then al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, who was killed by U.S. forces in Abbottabad, Pakistan, in 2011, was in charge of protecting Osama bin Laden in the Tora Bora. Notably, he became close to Osama when he worked with Abdullah Azzam in the Maktaba Akhidmat in the 1980s.

However, the return of Amin-ul-Haq to Afghanistan after so many days has raised concerns among Afghans. Violence is expected to escalate in the country.
