BJD Announces Name Of Mayor Candidates For BMC And CMC
Biju Janata Dal (BJD) announced names of Party’s Mayor Candidates for the Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Berhampur Municipal Corporation.
Sulochana Das shall be the candidate for Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. Subash Singh and and Sanghamitra Dalei have been named as the Mayor candidates for Cuttack and Berhampur respectively.
Congress has already declared Mayor candidates for Cuttack and Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporations. Giribala Behera and Madhusmita Acharya will be candidates for Cuttack & Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporations respectively.

Voting for 106 Urban Local Bodies and three municipal corporations will be held on March 24, as per the notification issued by SEC.
The election to the posts of Vice Chairperson and Deputy Mayor will be held on April 7 and 8, 2022 respectively.
