Rourkela, Dec 31: The workers of BJP and BJD clashed here on Tuesday during the distribution of pension to the locals in Uditnagar, Rourkela over ignoring Local MLA Dillip Ray to the function.
The BJP workers protested during the distribution of the Madhu Babu Pension cards by Handloom and Handicrafts Minister Snehangini Chhuria.
The minister programme was cancelled but officials carried on with the distribution.
The BJP workers said ignoring the local MLA for the function was ‘unacceptable.’
