Bhubaneswar, Aug 8: BJP, on Sunday at a Press Meet, accusing the BJD government, said that the BJD is trying to hide its failure and has mislead the people of Odisha.
Though the letters have been exchanged between the two states regarding the Kelo project on upper catchment of Mahanadi River, BJD has been hiding the fact. BJP, presenting a compilation of the official correspondence between the two states on the Kelo project, stated that the letter was exchanged on July 14 and October 4, 2008.While from the BJD side, BJD spokesperson , Sashibhusan Behera said that the state ministers in BJP and centre have being advocating on behalf of Chhattisgarh government. He also stated that until the project work on the Mahanadi River by the Chhattisgarh gets stopped, the protest would continue by the Odisha Government.
