Bhubaneswar: June 03: Biju Janata Dal slams BJP after Dharmendra Pradhan’s statement on Mahanadi water dispute. Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday said the statement of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on the Mahanadi water issue is “condemnable”. Politics started on the statement given by Dharmendra Pradhan. BJD has claimed that BJP has no clarity on the whole issue.
BJD alleged that, leaders of BJP including the Union Minister and the Prime Minister have been changing their stance on the issue repeatedly.
BJD Vice President Debi Prasad Mishra said, BJP is making an effort to protect themselves and to divert the attention from Mahanadi Issue, Saffron Party Leaders are making statements that show their double standards.
BJD General Secretary informed the Press that, BJD will soon chalk out plans to launch another phase of protests on the Mahanadi Water dispute.
