Bhubaneswar: April 23: Despite a stern warning from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, party leaders have not stopped yet to discuss in public relating to the issue on Sanjay Dasburma.
The ruling party today warned leaders publicly defying the whip of action. BJD spokesperson Sameer Dash said, ‘ CM advised all party members including MPs, MLAs and Ministers not to make statements other than the subject related to their domain. So, any deviation may lead to action from Party President.’ He further added, ‘It has been observed that the CM has taken action against the leaders who have defied the whip.
This time also, it may happen.’ Sameer Das statement came only after Excise Minister Damodar Rout and BJD leader of Jagatsinghpur Bishnu Das defied the advice of Chief Minister. Answering to the question on Sameer’s statement i.e. any deviation from party advise may lead to action, Dr.Rout said, ‘It is not applicable to me.’
