Bhubaneswar: Welcoming the Centre’s decision to raise the number of man-days under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) to 150, the State unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said that the drought-hit people will now get additional 50 days of work.

“People in the drought-affected areas in the State will get benefited with the decision. This will also help in preventing migration of labourers to other States in search of jobs”, said the party in a press released.
