Bhubaneswar: May 07: Panda Infra Projects has been barred from carrying out further construction of Bomikhal railway overbridge in Bhubaneswar as said by Works Department Secretary Nalinikanta Pradhan today and the remaining works to the tune of Rs 4-5 crore will be handed over to another firm and it will be completed within 2-3 months. Further he said, further action will be taken after submission of detailed report pertaining to the mishap.
On MAY 3, a labourer died and another got injured after a pile of iron rods fell on them near the under-construction flyover bridge.
Commissionerate Police arrested Pratap Panda, Chief Of Panda Infra under sections 304,337,338 and 34 of IPC. He is in Jharpada Special Jail now. He was also arrested in a similar case last year.
