Burla, Dec 1: Saroj Sethi, a professor of surgery department, of Burla Medical College was caught red handed by the Bargarh Vigilance team while receiving a bribe of Rs 10,000.
Charan Bhoi’s brother-in-law Govinda Guan, a resident of Bargarh district was admitted to the Burla hospital on 23rd November. He was operated on 25th of the month. For the operation Dr. Sethi had demanded a bribe of Rs 10, 000 from Charan. Unfortunately he was caught red handed by the vigilance team today while receiving the bribe, said sources.
