Bhubaneswar, Mar 21: Yesterday late night some outraged locals torched a car near Dumduma Durga Mandap under Khandagiri police limits here on hitting a bike thus injuring three members of a family. Mohammad Sahadin Ali of Dumduma along with his wife and six-years-old daughter were going on their bike when the car hit them near the Durga Mandap. All of them were injured and rushed to hospital. The driver of the car also sustained injuries. It’s stated that the locals torched the car alleging that the driver was driving on consuming alcohol. The situation came under control after Khandagiri police intervened and began investigation.
