Salipur, June 8: Over the much talked egg and stone attack on MP Baijayant Panda during the inauguration of an overhead water tank project, finally the Mahanga police has registered a case in connection.
The case was registered after a social activist identified as Subhendra Nayak of Jayarampur in Cuttack district had lodged the complaint. Nayak who is also an ex Sarpanch has demanded a detail inquiry in the matter along with strict action against the accused.
Notably, during the inauguration of an overhead water tank at a village in Mahanga, eggs and stones were hurled at MP Baijayant Panda during his visit to the spot.
