Bhawanipatna, Feb 21: In a tragic happening, a Chhattisgarh BJP NGO Cell secretary Lokesh Kawadia was arrested by the district police along with 8 others for distributing cash in Kalahandi district today.
Kawadia along with 8 others were caught and detained yesterday while distributing cash in the poll bound areas of Thuamal Rampur block in the district.
An amount of Rs 2.11 lakh cash and four vehicles were seized from their possession.
To be noted, the fifth and the final polling of the three tier panchayat elections were held today across Odisha.
