Rayagada, Dec 6: Pronouncing a 1 year jail term with Rs 3 lakh as fine to Nargis K. Asthari, chief of Prison Foundation, the SDJM court has made its hearing in the case of 2014 minor girl getting drowned. Along with this, due to lack of proper evidence the court has exonerated Jual Rajgupta.
It may be noted that, the official of the Prison Foundation with some small children were going for a picnic where one of the children named Asim Jilakira got drown in the Nagabali river and died. Following the incident a case was registered against Asthari and Rajgupta by Asim’s father.
