Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited different Durga Puja Mandaps in Bhubaneswar today. First, the CM visited the Patana sahi Puja mandap in the capital city.
As per reports, CM Mohan Majhi visited different puja pandals today and took blessings of Goddess Durga. First he visited that Patana Sahi puja and then proceeded to Sundarpada from where he went to Barmunda.
Till this report was writtern, the CM had visited the Baramunda Puja mandap. He will also visit the pandals at Nayapalli, Rasulgarh, Shaheed Nagar, Bomikhal, Laxmi Sagar and Station square. The Chief Minister is schedules to visit different puja mandaps for about 3 hours.
Tomorrow, on the ninth day, Majhi will visit Cuttack’s Puja Mandap and leave for Keonjhar. Mohan Majhi will participate in Durga Puja in his district Keonjhar on Dussehra.
It is to be noted that a little earlier today opposition leader Naveen Patnaik also visited different pandals of Bhubaneswar. He went to Rasulgarh puja mandap, got darshan of Maa Durga and then proceeded to Shaheed Nagar.
The former CM took blessings of Goddess Durga at Saheed Nagar and then went to Badgada.
Political pundits have called visit of Opposition Leader Naveen Patnaik and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to Durga Puja pandals of the capital city on the same day as an indirect political tussle.
