Berhampur, Nov 30: Around nine BJP activists have been arrested by the police keeping in view to avoid any unwanted situation during Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s visit to Ganjam district on Wednesday.
As per sources Patnaik is scheduled to arrive at the Ganjam district to inaugurate Titanium plant of Chhatrapur and Gopalpur’s Tata Steel ferrochrome plant. New project work such as the Janibil water supply project worth Rs 432 crore’s foundation stone and expansion of the Rangeilunda airstrip project’s foundation stone will be laid by the Chief Minster. Later he would visit Ankushpur to attend a general meeting.
