Commissionerate Police arrested sharp shooter of D-brothers’


Bhubaneswar: April 14: Commissionerate police has arrested the D-brothers’s sharp shooter Arif Khan from Madurai in Tamil Nadu. Police says, ‘In the process of investigation of Omm and Dipu murder case, the accused and witnesses had divulged the name of Khan and his whereabouts. Accordingly, a special team was sent to Madurai and he was nabbed from a place under Tirumangapuram police limits of the district.

Commissioner YB Khurania informed the media at a press conference here. Answering to questions of Media, ‘ Khan was working as driver of D-brothers’ and after the murder of Omm and Dipu, he was used by D-brothers’ as their sharp shooter. Besides murder, he was also involved in an extortion case.’ Khurania further said, ‘he was also booked in some criminal cases and spent some time in Jail’. Police seized a fake voter identity card in the name of Rajendra Behera and some sharp cutting weapons from him.
