Contraband Seized
Jaleswar: Nearly 500 grams of brown sugar was seized by Odisha police on the Monday evening at Rajpur slums, in Balasore.
The police, on getting a tip, raided the house of SK Sarif at Rajpur at around 10PM last night. The police have recovered nearly 500 grams of brown sugar estimated to be of worth Rs 50 Lakhs. The police has also recovered packing materials used to pack the contraband.
A prove into the same has been ordered. SK sarif and his Wife Jaigun Bibi have been detained by the police, said sources
