Bhubaneswar, Dec 24: On Friday the cops arrested another accused named Susant Sethy in the murder of the Seaways Shipping and Logistics Private Limited (SSPL) GM, Mahendra Swain, from New Delhi. This was informed to media this afternoon by Jagatsingpur SP Jaynarayan Pankaj. It’s stated that the accused is being brought to Odisha on transit remand. Sethy will be produced at the Kujang court. After him being produced at the court, the cops will apply for his remand.
It’s stated that Sethy being an employee of Orissa Stevedores Ltd (OSL), is also a close aide of the company’s managing director, Mahimananda Mishra.
Till now the cops have arrested five accused, Rakesh Chaubey and Riyasat Hussain of Jamshedpur, Muhammad Samin of Jharkhand, and Manoj Gochhayat and Shiva of Cuttack related to the case.
On Friday the Kujang JMFC court issued non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Mishra and Bal of OSPL in connection to the murder of General Manager of Seaways Shipping and Logistics Private Limited (SSPL), Mahendra Swain.
