Balangir, Nov 17: In connection to the abduction case of the Kolkata based businessman, Prateek Patodia, the Kantabanjhi cops claimed their winning goal today when they succeeded in arresting Kailash Agarwal, one of the prime accused. It’s stated that the Sundergarh police team is now taking Agarwal to Bhasma where a case has been filed related to this. However, Anil Bansal the prime suspect is yet to be nabbed. All this information was given to media by Sashibhusan Satpathy, the additional SP of Bolangir.
Notably, Patodia aged 31 was rescued from the Kantabanjhi area on July 27 along with his driver. He had been recovered after five days since he had been abducted. Patodia is a Kolkata based businessman and is the director of his company, Ashoka Multiyarn Mills Ltd (AMML) which is located at Kirei, about 110 km from Rourkela . His driver and he had been kidnapped on July 22 while they were coming from Jharsuguda railway station to his Kirei (Sundargarh) cotton mill unit.
