Bhubaneswar, Mar 29: The Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court, Cuttack Monday allowed Commissionerate Police to take Bhola Bhagat, a close associate of notorious gangster siblings Sushant and Sushil Dhalasamant, on a five day remand.
Earlier in the day, Commissionerate Police had filed a petition in the Cuttack SDJM Court, seeking eight day remand of Bhola. The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court at Cuttack had sent Bhola to jail as his previous five day remand was over on Sunday. Notably, Bhola, a key henchman of the Dhalasamants, was on the run since the arrest of the D-brothers from Pokhariput in the city. He was arrested from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh on March 19 by a Special Squad of the Commissionerate Police with the help of their UP counterparts.
