Puri, Mar 16: In a tragic incident two youth got critically injured after a cracker explosion took place at Gopinathpur in Puri district yesterday.
As of reports, two youths identified as Gopabandhu and Ramesh were in a process of illegal cracker making yesterday evening, when the crackers exploded and the house they were in, caught fire. After being informed, the fire brigade team reached the spot, dosed the fire off and rescued the two. They were soon rushed to the Puri District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in critical condition. But as their condition deteriorated, they were shifted to the Cuttack SCB Medical college and hospital.
In the meanwhile, police has begun investigating into the issue.
