Bhubaneswar, Feb 28: The Commissionerate Police on Saturday interrogated the owner of the HIG Duplex in Pokhariput under Airfield Police Station, which was rented to the notorious mobsters, Dhalasamant brothers.
It might be mentioned here that the D-brothers were arrested from the Pokhariput house on January 29 by the Commissionerate Police. Surprisingly, the Airfield Police and neighbors had no inkling that the dreaded duo were using the house as a safe hideout.
However, the Special Squad swooped down on the house in a midnight raid and managed to nab the infamous duo.
The cops also seized some high end luxury cars like BMW and Audi, three guns, ammo and around Rs 12 lakh in cash.
In the aftermath of the arrests, the incident had sent shock waves in the area among the local residents, who said when verification of the tenants is being carried out by the local police how they had no information about the house in such a posh area.
