Funds not to hold up Sambalpur’s development: CM

Sambalpur, Feb 28: Funds will not come in the way of the development of Sambalpur, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik assured during his visit to the city on Saturday.

Patnaik inaugurated a slew of projects during his visit.

“I am glad to be in Sambalpur today for a number of welfare and development projects for the local people,” said Patnaik.

The CM addressed the gathering at a ceremony to mark the Nirman Shramik Seva week. During the ceremony, Naveen gave away work orders for pucca houses to 138 construction workers under the Nirman Shramik Pucca Ghar Yojana.

A 50-bed mother and child care hospital complex on the premises of Sadar Hospital was also inaugurated by the CM during the day.

Meanwhile, a few Congress workers were arrested near Laxmi Talkies while attempting to give a memorandum to CM Naveen Patnaik.
