340 in 24 hours in Odisha
Odisha reported 340 new Positive cases in last 24 hours. Of which, 50 cases belong to 0-18 years’ old. Also, 199 people detected Covid Positive when they were in quarantine and rest 141 are local positive cases.
Out of 340 new cases, Khurda District of Odisha reported 149 new cases. Besides, 6 more districts reported cases in double digits. They are Cuttack (43), Kendrapara (15), Mayurbhanj (14), Balasore (13), Samablpur (12) and Jagatsinghpur (10). As informed by I & PR Department, 9 districts of state reported no cases.
Total Positive Cases (since the beginning of the pandemic) rose to 10,35,417 and of which, 10,22,250 patients have recovered from the disease including 508 new recoveries reported during 24 hours.
Active cases dip further to 4,824.
5 more deaths have been registered and with this, total death toll increased to 8290, reported Odisha Health & Family Welfare Department.
57293 tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Daily Positivity Rate stands at 0.59 percent.
