Bhubaneswar: August 6: With 1208 fresh Covid Positive Cases, Odisha’s total caseload increased to 9,84,731 and out of that, 9,65,370 patients have recovered from the disease. In last 24 hours, 1652 patients recovered from Covid-19. Accordingly, the active cases in the State declined further to 13,006.
Yesterday, 69,369 tests have been done in the State and out of that,1208 persons were found positive. So, the daily positivity rate declines further and now it stands at 1.74 percent.
Health department reported 66 new deaths due to Covid-19 and with this total death toll reached 6302.
As stated by Health Department, the deaths have not occurred on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.

Angul 55, Balasore 63, Bargarh 5, Bhadrak 22, Balangir 5, Cuttack 173, Deogarh 5, Dhenkanal 15, Gajapati 1, Ganjam 12, Jagatsinghpur 60, Jajpur 57, Jharsuguda 3, Kalahandi 2, Kandhamal 16, Kendrapara 32, Keonjhar 16, Khurda 399, Koraput 2, Malkangiri 4, Mayurbhanj 33, Nawarangpur 4, Nayagarh 25, Nuapada 2, Puri 58, Rayagada 8, Sambalpur 24, Sonepur 3, Sundergarh 20 and 84 from State Pool.
