Day temperature to come down from Mar 30; MeT Office

Bhubaneswar, Mar 23: Dense fog has occurred at one or two places over South Coastal Odisha. Weather has been dry over Odisha. Maximum temperatures observed no large change and were normal over Odisha. Minimum temperatures observed no large change over Odisha. They were below normal over Interior Odisha and normal over Coastal Odisha.

Having a clear sky Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours a maximum and minimum temperature of 37 degree Celsius and 24 degree Celsius respectively on Friday.

The relative humidity will be 96 percent at its maximum and 19 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT. Weather to be dry tomorrow. On Friday and Saturday, heat wave to blow in one or two places of Odisha. On Sunday, rain along with thunder squall and hail storm to occur in Coastal Odisha with a wind speed of 50-60 kmph. Interior Odisha to be dry. There will be a decrease in Day temperature.  In the next week on Monday, Coastal Odisha and adjoining districts of Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Dhenkanal, Angul and Mayurbhanj will be having rainfall with thunder squall and hail storm with the speed of wind being 50-60 kmph. As per the weather forecasters, decreased in day temperatures from Mar 30.

The highest maximum temperature of 39.00C was recorded at Bolangir and the lowest minimum temperature of 15.00C was recorded at Phulbani and Sundergarh in the plains of Odisha.
