Bhubaneswar, Aug 1: Odisha’s capital city is likely to experience in the next 24 hours rainfall of 2.2 mm along with thundershowers thus having a maximum and minimum temperature of 29 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius respectively on Tuesday having a cloudy atmosphere all around.
The relative humidity will be 97 percent at its maximum and 76 percent at its minimum, as said by the MeT Sub-Division.
Moderate showers and thunder storms will be on, in few parts of Odisha by Tuesday. During Tuesday, rainfall and thundershowers will be occurring maximum in both northern and southern parts of Odisha. On Wednesday, Coastal and Interior Odisha would witness heavy to very heavy rainfall along with thundershowers. The sea wave height will be around 3-4 m along Odisha coast. On Thursday, Coastal Odisha would witness very heavy rainfall along with thundershowers whereas Interior Odisha is also likely to witness heavy showers on the same day. The sea wave height will be around 3-4 m along Odisha coast on Thursday as well. Friday would witness the same situations as on Thursday and Saturday would have extremely heavy rainfall along the interior parts of the state showers would also be in the coastal parts of Odisha. On the basis of weather report submitted by the MeT officials, there would be a decrease in rainfall from 7th August.
The highest maximum temperature of 34 degree C was recorded at Puri and the lowest minimum temperature of 22 degree C was recorded at Angul and Sundegarh in the plains of Odisha.
