Kendrapara, Jan 7: After being denied to provide support in Panchayat polls, Nabaghana Malick, a rickshaw puller committed suicide by hanging himself. The incident happened here in Odisha.
Sources said, Malick wanted to contest as a ward member candidate from ward no 10 and on Thursday he had informed to his family but unfortunately, his family members refused to accept his proposal which took Malick into depression.
Appallingly, his body was seen hanging from a tree on Friday. On rescuing him immediately, his family members took him to the Kendrapara hospital where he was declared as dead.
Later, the family members of the deceased Malick disclosed the fact being their economic status very low, they barred Malick to contest in the upcoming panchayat polls.
