Puri, Oct 8: Today in the morning a devotee named Udaynath Padhi aged 65 died on falling from the ‘Baisi Pahacha’ of Sri Mandir here. The deceased belonged to Pichukuli village in Khurda. It’s stated that Padhi with his family members had come to Puri for the darshan of the deities and when he was returning after having the darshan all of a sudden fell on the ‘Baisi Pahacha’ following a head spin. Immediately he was taken to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
