Bhubaneswar: August 20: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has requested Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to implement the Centre’s flagship health insurance scheme, Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Odisha.
This will certainly help the poor people of the Sate and also the state’s huge migrant population staying at Gujarat, West Bengal, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh like states who are unable to avail state sponsored health care scheme at their work place will be benefited with the scheme, Minister added.
Dharmendra Pradhan also spoke about his Party’s proposal to conduct simultaneous polls to the ULBs and the three-tier Panchayati raj institutions. He said, State BJP Unit has presented its proposal the State Election Commission regarding conduct simultaneous polls.
