New Delhi, Jan 11: Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, today reviewed the status of various projects in the oil sector to be implemented in Bihar. The meeting was attended by officers from various oil PSUs.
While expressing satisfaction at the progress of implementation of various projects and adherence to timelines, it was decided that the status of the projects will be reviewed on a monthly basis by Joint Secretary (Refinery), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
Each of the stakeholder oil PSUs will also nominate ED level officer(s), as a Nodal officer(s) for coordination, planning and implementation. The Government of Bihar will also be consulted for facilitating implementation of the various projects outlined in the package.
Earlier, Prime Minister had announced a developmental package for Bihar, consisting of various projects in different sectors.
